⌚ IWC Portugieser: värde och historia

IWC Portugieser går tillbaka till 1939, då Ref. 325 tillverkades med ett fickursverk och en ovanligt stor boett. Linjen är känd för sin rena urtavlelayout och har vuxit till att omfatta komplicerade versioner som Perpetual Calendar från 2003. Videorna här visar två moderna exempel: Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium (Ref. IW371631), ett boettmaterial som IWC har utvecklat och som förenar titanets lätthet med keramikens hårdhet, och Portugieser Tourbillon Rétrograde Chronograph (Ref. IW394009). Accompanied by the IWC Portugieser music exclusively produced by Hans Zimmer this beautifully crafted timepiece captures the fascination with eternity: introducing the Portugieser Eternal Calendar. Our first “secular” perpetual calendar recognizes the different lengths of the months and adds a leap day every four years, while also taking into account the Gregorian calendar’s complex leap year exceptions. Over a timespan of 400 years, it will skip three leap years that would normally occur at the end of a century. What's more, its moon phase display is so accurate that it will only deviate by one day in 45 million years.
