IWC Portugieser går tillbaka till 1939, då Ref. 325 tillverkades med ett fickursverk och en ovanligt stor boett. 2024 is the Year of the Wood Dragon, a combination that only occurs once every 60 years. Our new Portugieser Chronograph Year of the Dragon celebrates this powerful and noble symbol with a vibrant burgundi dial for longevity and luck, a robust and precise mechanical chronograph powered by the IWC-manufactured 69355 calibre visible through the transparent sapphire case back, that also reveals this timepiece's highlight: the gold-plated rotor of the automatic winding system. To pay homage to 2024, we crafted a beautifully detailed dragon, symbol of power, nobleness, honor and success.
