Die IWC Portugieser geht auf das Jahr 1939 zurück, als die Ref. 325 mit einem Taschenuhrwerk und einem auffallend grossen Gehäuse gefertigt wurde. Die Linie ist für ihr aufgeräumtes Zifferblatt bekannt und wuchs um komplizierte Versionen wie den Perpetual Calendar von 2003. Die Videos hier zeigen zwei moderne Beispiele: den Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium (Ref. IW371631), dessen von IWC entwickelter Gehäusewerkstoff die Leichtigkeit von Titan mit der Härte von Keramik verbindet, und den Portugieser Tourbillon Rétrograde Chronograph (Ref. IW394009). Our new Portugieser Chronograph Year of the Dragon celebrates this powerful and noble symbol with a vibrant burgundi dial for longevity and luck, a robust and precise mechanical chronograph powered by the IWC-manufactured 69355 calibre visible through the transparent sapphire case back, that also reveals this timepiece's highlight: the gold-plated rotor of the automatic winding system. To pay homage to 2024, we crafted a beautifully detailed dragon, symbol of power, nobleness, honor and success.
