⌚ IWC Portugieser：価値と歴史

IWC Portugieserの歴史は1939年にさかのぼります。このとき、懐中時計のムーブメントを搭載した、きわめて大きなケースのRef. 325が作られました。すっきりとした文字盤レイアウトで知られるこのラインは、2003年のPerpetual Calendarのような複雑な仕様のモデルにまで広がりました。ここでは現行の2本を紹介しています。1本はPortugieser Chronograph Ceratanium（Ref. IW371631）で、チタンの軽さとセラミックの硬さを兼ね備えるIWC開発のケース素材を使用しています。もう1本はPortugieser Tourbillon Rétrograde Chronograph（Ref. IW394009）です。以下の動画はIWC公式チャンネルのものです。

Our first “secular” perpetual calendar recognizes the different lengths of the months and adds a leap day every four years, while also taking into account the Gregorian calendar’s complex leap year exceptions. Over a timespan of 400 years, it will skip three leap years that would normally occur at the end of a century. What's more, its moon phase display is so accurate that it will only deviate by one day in 45 million years.
