Il Portugieser di IWC nasce nel 1939, quando venne realizzato il Ref. 325 con un movimento da orologio da tasca e una cassa insolitamente grande. La linea è nota per il quadrante pulito e ordinato e si è ampliata fino a comprendere versioni complicate come il Perpetual Calendar del 2003. I video qui mostrano due esempi moderni: il Portugieser Chronograph Ceratanium (Ref. IW371631), un materiale per la cassa sviluppato da IWC che unisce la leggerezza del titanio alla durezza della ceramica, e il Portugieser Tourbillon Rétrograde Chronograph (Ref. IW394009).
