This Big Pilot’s Watch (Ref. IW500401) is over a decade old, and was last serviced six years ago. Over time, the watch has developed visible scratches on the case and clasp, and several wearing parts show signs of use and require replacement. The watch has been sent to Schaffhausen for a full service. IWC Goldsmith, Luka Gjon, works at the goldsmith machine to refine the case surfaces and edges, ensuring a seamless return to their original shape and polished aesthetic. This is the third of seven steps in a full watch servicing. Discover the remaining steps of the servicing process on our profile.
