IWC introduces the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Tourbillon Le Petit Prince (IW504901). This extraordinary timepiece unites two of fine watchmaking’s most prestigious complications: a fascinating flying minute tourbillon and the ingenious perpetual calendar. Both are powered by the IWC-manufactured 51950 calibre, a highly complex movement composed of 474 parts. The flying minute tourbillon at 12 o’clock, made of 82 components and weighing only 0.635 grams, places the pallet lever and escapement inside a delicate cage that completes a full rotation every 60 seconds.
