This Big Pilot’s Watch (Ref. IW500401) is over a decade old, and was last serviced six years ago. Over time, the watch has developed visible scratches on the case and clasp, and several wearing parts show signs of use and require replacement. The watch has been sent to Schaffhausen for a full service. IWC Watchmaker, Florian Salzer, carefully disassembles the movement to prepare each component for cleaning, inspection, and the refurbishment work required to bring the watch back to peak performance.
